Overview:
In this project, students are invited to participate in a Team Huddle between four allied health professionals. Students will practice active listening and observation to learn more about the roles of different allied health professionals in the care of a patient.
Project:
Using the project pack, students will complete and submit a Team Huddle Template that contains:
- 5 helpful questions they could ask their supervisor after the Team Huddle to understand more about the roles of different allied health professionals.
- 3 topics they could research after the Huddle to learn more about the treatment offered by allied health professionals to support Mr Wattle.
- 2 things they found surprising about the Huddle. For example, what surprised them about the allied health roles? What would they like to know more about?

Overview:
In this project, students are invited to observe a clinical session between a patient and two allied health professionals. Following the session, students will need to write an email to their career counsellor summarising what they observed. When constructing their email, students should pay particular attention to confidentiality and clear communication.
Project:
Using the project pack, students will complete an Email Template. To complete the project, their email should:
- Recap what they observed in the session clearly and concisely
- Maintain confidentiality.

Overview:
In this project, students are invited put themselves in the shoes of allied health professionals and investigate the roles of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech pathologists and podiatrists in a patient's rehabilitation journey.
Project:
In this project, students are invited to observe examples of care that each allied health profession provides to Eli on his rehab journey. No project submission is required.

Overview:
In this project, students are invited to explore empathy tips that can help patients feel safe, heard and comfortable. They will then select an allied health professional and their patient to observe, before identifying some empathetic acts for the patient.
Project:
Students are invited to complete and submit a completed Empathy Acts Template that includes:
- Naming the allied health professional they have chosen to observe.
- 5 observations they have made about the allied health professional's patient.
- 5 acts of empathy they could plan for the patient.
- 3 questions they could ask their chosen allied health professional to understand more about the patient's treatment.
