Textiles Manufacturing Assistant

Main duties and responsibilities

• Daily operation of industrial sewing machines, working to defined procedures/methods with accuracy

• Exercise the skills to perform intermediate level sewing tasks under supervision and instruction.

• Understand and apply quality control skills in your work and component parts (including understanding the likely cause/s of deviations to specified quality standards in your own work)

• Record detailed information on production and/or quality indicators as required

• Work as an effective member of the team

• Identify and rectify minor equipment/machine faults, and report problems that cannot be rectified to the Company Director

• Consistently working to a high standard

• Adhering to workplace safe operating procedures
