\nEnsure you are logged in or register here.<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\tProject 1 – Team Huddle<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\tOverview:<\/strong><\/p>\nIn this project, students are invited to participate in a Team Huddle between four allied health professionals. Students will practice active listening and observation to learn more about the roles of different allied health professionals in the care of a patient.<\/p>\n
Project:<\/strong><\/p>\nUsing the project pack, students will complete and submit a Team Huddle Template that contains:<\/p>\n
\n- 5 helpful questions<\/strong> they could ask their supervisor after the Team Huddle to understand more about the roles of different allied health professionals.<\/li>\n
- 3 topics <\/strong>they could research after the Huddle to learn more about the treatment offered by allied health professionals to support Mr Wattle.<\/li>\n
- 2 things <\/strong>they found surprising about the Huddle. For example, what surprised them about the allied health roles? What would they like to know more about?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Following the session, students will need to write an email to their career counsellor summarising what they observed. When constructing their email, students should pay particular attention to confidentiality and clear communication.<\/p>\n
Project:<\/strong><\/p>\nUsing the project pack, students will complete an Email Template. To complete the project, their email should:<\/p>\n
\n- Recap what they observed in the session clearly and concisely<\/li>\n

Project:<\/strong><\/p>\nIn this project, students will observe how different allied health professionals support Eli during his rehab journey. Afterward, they will complete a Rehabilitation Recap Quiz to test their understanding.<\/p>\n

They will then select an allied health professional and their patient to observe, before identifying some empathetic acts for the patient.<\/p>\n
Project:<\/strong><\/p>\nStudents are invited to complete and submit a completed Empathy Acts Template that includes:<\/p>\n
\n- Naming<\/strong> the allied health professional they have chosen to observe.<\/li>\n
- 5 observations <\/strong>they have made about the allied health professional’s patient.<\/li>\n
- 5 acts of empathy\u00a0<\/strong>they could plan for the patient.<\/li>\n
- 3 questions<\/strong> they could ask their chosen allied health professional to understand more about the patient’s treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

In this project, students are invited to participate in a Team Huddle between four allied health professionals. Students will practice active listening and observation to learn more about the roles of different allied health professionals in the care of a patient.<\/p>\n
Project:<\/strong><\/p>\n
Using the project pack, students will complete and submit a Team Huddle Template that contains:<\/p>\n

- 5 helpful questions<\/strong> they could ask their supervisor after the Team Huddle to understand more about the roles of different allied health professionals.<\/li>\n
- 3 topics <\/strong>they could research after the Huddle to learn more about the treatment offered by allied health professionals to support Mr Wattle.<\/li>\n
- 2 things <\/strong>they found surprising about the Huddle. For example, what surprised them about the allied health roles? What would they like to know more about?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Following the session, students will need to write an email to their career counsellor summarising what they observed. When constructing their email, students should pay particular attention to confidentiality and clear communication.<\/p>\n

In this project, students are invited to explore empathy tips that can help patients feel safe, heard and comfortable. They will then select an allied health professional and their patient to observe, before identifying some empathetic acts for the patient.<\/p>\n

Students are invited to complete and submit a completed Empathy Acts Template that includes:<\/p>\n

- Naming<\/strong> the allied health professional they have chosen to observe.<\/li>\n
- 5 observations <\/strong>they have made about the allied health professional’s patient.<\/li>\n
- 5 acts of empathy\u00a0<\/strong>they could plan for the patient.<\/li>\n
- 3 questions<\/strong> they could ask their chosen allied health professional to understand more about the patient’s treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
